Non-stick coagulation

  • Advanced manufacturing process applied to the working tips enhances the mirror finish and highly polished working tips offer an extremely smooth finish to reduce sticking and charring.
  • Materials from which the forceps are made are inherently hard to help minimizing abrasion and damage during normal use.
  • Insulated forceps shaft protects the surrounding tissue when performing deep procedures.

Good visibility

  • Irrigation pipe recessed into the right blade of the forceps to increase the surgeon’s visibility at the forceps’ tips.
  • Bayonet handles enhances visibility by keeping the surgeon’s hand farther from the line of sight.


Codman® Reusable Bipolar Forceps are indicated for use in any surgical procedure that requires tissue coagulation and/or cauterization to achieve hemostasis. They are indicated for use in general surgery, neurosurgery, urology and nephrology
