Codman VersaTru® Slim – Your Partner in Challenging Situations
Built from Codman®’s 50 years of experience innovating in the field of electrosurgery,
the Codman VersaTru® disposable non-stick bipolar forceps help you optimize your
surgical performance in challenging situations.
Non-stick coagulation
Full length proprietary plating is engineered to optimize heat transfer along the entire tine surface to provide enhanced and consistent non-stick coagulation performance*, especially in intensive surgical conditions, reducing sticking and charring while coagulating.
Precision surgical control
True Tip Alignment technology provides enhanced control and tactile feedback*.
- Precision machined internal yoke permanently fixes tine geometry for every forceps to deliver true tip alignment.
- Anti-scissoring device is designed to limit tine & tip movement and deliver true tip alignment.
- Automated finished tips help in tip alignment precision.
- Enhanced tines rigidity due to higher grade alloy*.
Flexible cord and remote connections are designed to provide enhanced instrument balance*.
Optimal visualization
- Thin chamfered tines coupled with a beveled tips design deliver a 21% narrower profile* for an enhanced visualization and access to surgical targets even in tight working channels.
- Standardized angulation across the sizes of forceps provides consistent handling experience.
- Codman Versatru® Slim bipolar forceps features 21% narrower profile** and a shallow tine angle design that optimize visualization in narrow operating corridors between forceps tips.
* Compared to previous generation of Codman® disposable non-stick bipolar forceps
Isocool® – When Precise Heat Control matters
Built from Codman®’s years of experience innovating in the field of electrosurgery, the Isocool® disposable nonstick bipolar forceps help you in procedures requiring precise heat
Active Heat Control
Active Heat Transfer (AHT®) Technology actively controls tip and tissue temperature and heat pipes pump heat away from tips allowing Isocool® bipolar forceps to achieve and maintain lower but efficient temperatures during coagulation:
- Minimizing sticking and charring
- Reducing inadvertent collateral tissue damage
- Enhancing ability to coagulate delicate tissue in fine detail
Gold plated tips feature excellent non-stick performance due to high heat conduction.
Precision & Visualization
- The improved locking mechanism of the handle/tip interface enhances the disposable tip engagement and alignment for precise coagulation.
- Isocool® GL is slimmer and has more contoured tips than LP (low profile) for a greater light of sight.
Indications
